When looking for yourself, one often looks to the past. My fondest memories as a kid was creating art, such as doodling characters from my favorite TV shows. I aim to evoke a similar sense of nostalgia, fondness, and personal connection through my art. I often base my art on cultural references, pop culture references, memories, or simply things I enjoy. My style pairs simple forms with bright colors. This is because I want my art to speak a lot through so little so that anyone can understand, even a child. As I grow up, I continue to explore more of myself through art. Although graphic design and digital art are my specialties, I explore many mediums: sculpture, glassblowing, new media, and painting. As a graphic designer, I want to not only search and share part of myself, but also help people find themselves through my designs. No matter if it is websites, branding, packaging design or more, the more I am designing, the more of myself I am.
